Dear SD Tech Team,

Any help appreciated!

May be completely coincidental but Outlook started to play up at the same time. Mmmm.

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

I hate to sound like a typical IT helpdesk here but... have you rebooted your machine?

Hi,

Yes, sorry I meant to post my 'actions', but didn't!

Reboot.
Re-install SD
Re-install .net Framework followed by windows update

No joy I am afraid.

In your Documents folder, there is a SkyDemon folder - try moving that folder to your desktop (or somewhere else out of the way), then re-launching.

Moving the SD Folder to my desktop forced a new login process, but still gave me the unhandled exception.

I seem to be getting two slightly different exception, this one follows if I select continue, and instead of 'specified window is not open' I get 'object reference not set'.

System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Same problem here. with winXP updated sky demon and it is broken and has been for over a month.

as far as I can tell this has been a problem since the 19th April update of skydemon, but the older version that works is not available to download. This is a basic coding error in skydemon 2.6.2 and it hasn't been fixed in 2.6.3

really annoying as now my SD mobile is currently useless.

removed reinstalled everything, updated .net and all windows components and still the same problem. It is not the computer it is skydemon code.

just tried installing 2.3.4 an old version and the problem goes away. it would be sensible if skydemon kept the older versions available for download somewhere so when they break the code in an update users can roll back.
