I don't think so. We were going to look at the possibility of integrating with Zaon devices but then they went out of business, so we certainly won't be doing it at this stage.

I don't understand the question. What does Skyview, Zaon and Garmin have to do with SkyDemon?
Hi Tim,

‌‌Skyview - Skyfall -
Skydemon ... ‌Sorry if my mind does not read load and clearly...

I meant Skydemon as in: Z‌aon MRX (Anti collision devices) outputs traffic alerts in a format that allows the mentioned Garmin devices to show the traffic. But since I do not use any of the Garmin products I would much prefer to have traffic show up on my Skydemon navigation display.

‌‌Given that this output is available from the Zaon - is it then not possible to show on my Skydemon somehow ??

H‌appy holidays to all ‌

Old thread I know - but a question for Tim & team:

S‌ince the Zaon MRX allready has communication facilities (port, protocol and cable) to interface and show traffic on Garmin 396/496/696/695 and Garmin AERA 500/550 - wouldt it then not be a breeze to get this information into Skyview ?

Not at present; Garmin like to keep you locked into their products and have not offered a way for third-party software to integrate with them.

Is there no chance of integration with the Garmin GDL39?

Are you sure? The spec says 978MHz only for ADS-B in which is the US UAT frequency.

Hi,

I'm a US-based Skydemon subscriber and I was wondering if there were any plans to support ADS-B devices like the Dual Xgps170?  I see references to FLARM that appear to be an EU equivalent to ADS-B, but I don't see where it translates to anything I can find or get in the States.

Regards,
Greg

Unfortunately TIS-B/FIS-B services are nonexistent in EU. The device is capable of receiving ADS-B direct from nearby Mode-S transponders, though. It´s portable & it´s already working with 3rd party software on IOS & Android.

sounds good

Hi,

How about the Garrecht TRX1500 (~1,000 quids) (http://www.air-avionics.com/air/index.php/en/products/collision-avoidance/trx-1500-the-flexible-collision-avoidance-system), which is capable of FLARM in/out and ADS/B in. ADS/B out can be achieved easily with a transponder installed.
With the help of AirConnect (~ 120 quids) data will be transmitted to your iPad via WiFi and traffic should be displayed on your SkyDemon moving map. So far my theory. Has anybody tried this configuration?
I haven't, couldn't convince the co-owner of my aircraft so far.

Best regards
Eric
