Hello All, 

I am shure that this function will change my live at the left seat in front row .

Today, for cross-country flights in central/western (continental) Europe, it is the most often touched knob to adjusted a new / other frequency for flying VFR on FL 65 to 135. 

I installed the IRXON BT 578 V31 as recommended

(from Mini Ipad (Bionic Chip) --> BLE-->IRXCOM Pin 3--> to Pin 13 at  DB15 for TQ KRT2 OLED VHF Radio)

The setup on SD was straight forward (RADIO, to STBY).

The process works:

- SD confirm the envoy

- IRXCOM flash the LED

- KRT2 does nothing, even after cycling or reboot all once 

The wiring is ok, the IRXCOM was in delivery configuration.

I twice checked 5V DC, signal, ground for this wiring.

Baudrate for TQ (ex. Dittel) KRT2 series OLED VHF Radio??

I was asking TQ Support about this, and if the interface is only working from a specific Firmware. They sent me the following answer (translated in english for you):

- the RS232 Interface works on all KRT2 since the beginning

- the default baud rate is 115200

- this Baud rate can not be modified

In the mean time - waiting for TQ's answer- I found this document:

  This document contains the interface specifications for the RS232 serial connection between the KRT2-F/S/S2/L/P transceiver (herein    “radio module”) and a remote control unit (herein “remote module”) e.g. the KRT2-D remote head module.
   1. Remote Interface Overview
   The data format for the serial communication is as follows:
   Baud rate 9600 , Data bits 8 , Stop bits none , Parity none , Handshake none

Troubleshooting  any ideas?

actually I plan to 

- reset IRXCOM within the tool BT578_Tester

- test with a) 9600 baud   then b) the max Baud rate
