I've been in software for 25 years and I can honestly say that Skydemon is one of the best applications I have used.  Unfortunately for some reason the developers have decided to remove a lot of the extended runways from the smaller airfields.  I spoke to a (lovely) young lady in support who informed be that it's because the don't have the exact runway coordinates.
This is a really bad decision that must have come from a developer not a pilot ! The extended runways are an invaluable tool if you are in track up mode so that you cannot lose orientation, they don't need to be ultra precise BUT in crowded airspace such as a fly in they are a great tool, not for ILS but for orientation.  Nothing has been gained by removing these, a lot has been lost.
If sky demon read this, please put them back in!

( I see a thread has already been raised below)

Hi Tom
Sorry if I'm not explaining myself.  The extended centre lines appear, which is good.  Therefore SD is taking a software decision to add in an extended centreline to some coordinates in the database.  However it's scripted it's adding it in.  However, if there are no circles it will arbitrarily choose an extended centreline.  For instance last Sunday heading back to Draycot Farm  I wanted to land on RW 18 as the wind was SW.  SD decided I should use 36 and I could not change it.
What I am asking for is the ability to select the runway with Extended Centre Line rather than SD doing it for us. If the information is enough for SD to show it, it should be enough for us to select it
cheers
Gary
