I've been in software for 25 years and I can honestly say that Skydemon is one of the best applications I have used.  Unfortunately for some reason the developers have decided to remove a lot of the extended runways from the smaller airfields.  I spoke to a (lovely) young lady in support who informed be that it's because the don't have the exact runway coordinates.
This is a really bad decision that must have come from a developer not a pilot ! The extended runways are an invaluable tool if you are in track up mode so that you cannot lose orientation, they don't need to be ultra precise BUT in crowded airspace such as a fly in they are a great tool, not for ILS but for orientation.  Nothing has been gained by removing these, a lot has been lost.
If sky demon read this, please put them back in!

( I see a thread has already been raised below)

Hi Tom
I was running the last version of the software on my PC and Weston Zoyland was selectable runway, now it's not?  In any event is it not sensible to have the runways centrelines in anyway even if you don't have precise coordinates as a tool?  Even if they are a different colour or whatever
ps
Thanks for a speedy reply - great service as always

Which runways you "see" depends on the setting of minimum usable runway length in the Setup section. Just make sure that this is set lower than the runway of the airport you are worrying about.
