Hi,
we have the Air Connect Interface to send Traffic from Powerflarm to skydemon via WLAN.
I need a Hardware connected via WLAN and RS232 to Skydemon to steer my Autopilot.

Every old Handheld GPS (e.g Garmin Pilot III from 1997) can send this signals from the progammed track to my Autopilot. (TruTrak of Trio)

Any change to realize this Hardward and bind it to skydemon ?

The hardware for that is ready and working, I saw it last week on both Trio and TruTrak autopilots, getting GPS wireless from an iPhone. It is only the navigation software to implement the steering commands transmission. Will it come? Yes! Who will be the first and how long until allowed in certified aircraft we don't know. My bet, much quicker then old farts believe. But, many still believe handheld GPS cannot be used for autopilots, which is definitely wrong.

What hardware are people using to establish the wireless link between a tablet and an autopilot?

What I saw was with the built in hardware as transmission source. Only a simple cheap converter on the other side. If Skydemon would send Avlink data over wireless, all would be set for Experimental and microlight already today. The guy doing that stuff was a member of this forum and ran away, maybe you can still contact him for details?

Anything some guy is doing as a hobby is a non-starter. If there is a mass-market product out there enabling wireless comms between iOS/Android and a tablet, with hundreds of existing users already, that is something we can work with.

You don‘t have to be innovative, but keep a look at it.

Look at what? Are you saying there is such a product? If so, we can begin discussions with its manufacturer.

There is no additional product needed. Only thing missing is software.

I must be missing something. You can't plug an iPad or an Android tablet directly into an autopilot, so we're looking at a wireless link which requires hardware and some protocol documentation. What's the hardware that everyone is using to connect their autopilot to their tablets?
