Hi All,

I now have Funke radio modules available. These ones have a 3d printed cover for the electronics however the main structure that stabilises the connectors is cnc machined aluminium.

It has all the same features as my Trig modules, except that it runs off the aircraft bus directly so the power supply is good for 6 to 60 volts. It's very compact too, adding only 28mm to the existing connector length. You can connect an EFIS or Autopilot etc.. to the spare serial port and only the required radio control packets are filtered and sent to the Funke radio.

For anyone interested they are available here

After so many requests, we decided to develop an SD-Link TRIG TY96 adapter.

The solution isn't plug-and-play like our previous adapters—it's screw-and-play. But don't worry—anyone can replace the four screws. Still, no soldering or wiring changes required.

Hi Tim,
i wrote you an email, but obvisously it has not been forwarded to you. On Android version 4.2.3.0 there is a bug when you want to use location service from external traffic receiver (TRX-1500), android says Seeking for satellites. When i use version 4.2.1.0, everything works like it should. Also Apple version 4.2.3.0 works fine.

I don't think there is any such general bug. If SkyDemon 4.2.3 was not able to get location from BLE devices, there would be hundreds of people getting in touch about it. What have customer support said?

Hallo SD team,
Is there any change we can use the Vnav on the autopilot.
Up till now we only get the information for nav not the Vnav sentences.
With kind regards
Freerk Bouwer

That there is wrong baudspeed set or some wiring problem, but its not. Why would it work on 4.2.1, iPhone 4.2.3 and not Android 4.2.3?

I've no idea. But I don't think there was any change in SkyDemon to the BLE stuff in 4.2.3, and plenty of people are using SkyDemon's BLE stuff in 4.2.3 on Android.
