I don't have a Stratux, so don't know of all it's capabilities, however, I'm pretty sure Stratux does not have the P3I reception. So, no P3I and no Flarm/OGN broadcast over the OGNR network.

‌Both have ADSB In and both have the ability to have UAT weather in (but this means not having bearingless targets displayed on SkyDemon from PAW i.e  you have to chose one or the other). PAW does not have the ability, at the moment, to display AHARS information but I believe that is a development in Rosetta (the new PAW).

‌The UAT weather is undergoing a trial in the UK at the moment by UAVionix and SkyDemon.

Good news, now there is a ready-to-go Stratux FLARM image available which potentially will be updated on a regular basis:

That's interesting; does it add native FLARM decoding to Stratux?

Yes, it does. If you need a device for testing with SD I am more than happy to send you one.

That's pretty cool. I don't need a device for testing, but it's nice to know that someone has developed a device that receives and decodes FLARM, presumably without getting an explicit license to do so from FLARM themselves.

I agree, this is indeed remarkable. The FLARM decoder code is derived from the OGN.

An important update: there will shortly be a new version available, the current version is missing some important libs, stay tuned.
