Good afternoon,

If I export kml or gpx log files and I import them into Google Earth, I have the feeling data is missing.

The trace is shown, but if you click on one point of the trace, a pop up window appears but no data is displayed.

Do I have a problem inside Google Earth?  Since the trace is shown, data is available for Google Earth.

When I am using "https://www.flysto.net", the same file (KML or GPX) shows the speed, altitude.

Thanks a lot if you can show me the way to have readable data in Earth.

Dan.

Click on your log (its virtual radar output) so it's selected then the option will become available.

2. Export the log from Skydemon as a GPX file

Ah, now that is where I am coming unstuck as I cannot see any way to export the file as anything - let alone a GPX file.

The 'export' option is greyed out on my SkyDemon

I've had no problem with reliving my famous flights via Skydemon mobile and Google Earth. I use the full Skydemon version and it's great fun. What I do is:

1. Synch the mobile with the Skydemon PC version after the flight so your log gets loaded into Skydemon

2. Export the log from Skydemon as a GPX file

3. Import the GPX directly into Google Earth - taking care to uncheck the 'Adjust altitudes to ground level' in the GPS data import that Google Earth throws up. I also leave the KML Groundstrings unchecked, but I do check the KML tracks box.

4. Go into Google Earth and enjoy. I've set up the touring options like this (see below) and it allows me to relive the flight by clicking on that little folder icon at the bottom of the places window

Thanks. We'll consider flightlog export directly in KML format in the future.

Hi Tim, it automatically creates .kml files.

I've attached one (renamed the extension to .txt)

thanks

In what format does the route come out of your AV80R software before being translated into a Google file?
