User waypoints are displayed the same size as other waypoints. If the size of waypoints in general is too small for you, you can increase their size from the Mapping menu.

Press and hold anywhere on the chart (where there isn't already a waypoint) and you can create a user waypoint at that position.

The "problem" you cannot decide the size of the waypoint. Eg. if you want have a big mark to see it very clearly or rather a small one ...

You could create for example 3 red flags (waypoints) around your point so it is easily visible on your Skydemon chart.
You could choose your own icon and number of icons to suit. Also you could add a waypoint in the middle to navigate to or include in your Nav.

The answer is probably no, but I must ask... paint what?

To mark certain points in preflight planning.

A touch on the chart over the position you are interested in will bring up the What’s Here pop-up, on which there is an option to create a User Waypoint. Try it in simulator mode.

Thanks Graham.

I have now found a quick way to mark my current location by tapping the Skydemon Logo top left on Android Mobile.
It then gives the option to 'Create User Waypoint Here'.
The waypoint is named Waypoint 1 and additional waypoints are Waypoint 2 etc.
By doing this it marks what is at your location rather than touching a place on the chart.
Later on after landing you can edit and rename these Waypoints and choose your own icon.

Both methods create a user Waypoint one is directly at your current location and the other wherever you put your finger on the chart.
Thanks again for the reply
Tony

May I ask when flying using Skydemon is there a way to quickly drop a pin or waypoint marker over an interesting spot that you are flying over?
Similar to the MOB function (man over board) on other GPS products.
Eg. Quickly marking a spot that you may like to return to.

Thank you
Tony
