Is there a way, on IOS, to bulk upload User Documents related to individual airfields?
I have a list of plates in format ICAO_text.pdf
I want to bulk upload them rather than doing it manually.

Does iTunes still allow upload of documents to apps on your iOS device? That would be the way to do it, or some other file transfer software.

yes it does indeed, just tried bulk uploading and it works (from iTunes PC -> iphone Skydemon files)
will this then sync the User Documents to my other Skydemon apps (ipad)?

As a slight refinement to the above, would it be possible to tweak the airport recognition on any imported user document, so that they could be grouped by type within an airfield? e.g.:

XXXX_Airfield_[Description]
XXXX_Airspace_[Description]
XXXX_Approach_[Description]
XXXX_Arrival_[Description]
XXXX_Departure_[Description]
XXXX_Noise_[Description]

XXXX_[Description] would just go into an unclassified section (effectively as now).

that would be awesome. FF actually goes further and just groups them along with the AIP charts per the above.

And it would be great of having them for airfields lacking an ICAO-code.

The grouping is a good idea, and would be quite cheap to implement if many people want it to work that way. Bear in mind the subset of SkyDemon users who use user documents at all is very small to start with, but we don't mind doing stuff like this if there's no negative impact elsewhere.

sounds great: so combination of the suggestions

1) provide a syntax that user need to follow e.g. [ICAO]_[TYPE]_[<Rxx>||Description].pdf
2) on import the file is grouped under the relevant section of the Airfield tab e.g. if there;s an approach you see the AIP one and the custom one.
3) Perhaps colour coding or some such to differentiate "official" sources versus custom
