Beta releases are unsupported and we would only advise someone to try them if they're running into a specific problem that we think has been fixed in a beta release, for confirmation. I will ask my colleague but I don't think we would necessary document them in the manual.

Thanks for that info. May I suggest you put something about beta updates in your user manual? I did check but nothing was mentioned (other than to use Play Store).

Beta versions are not listed or updated through the Play Store you need to go to http://www.skydemon.aero/start/beta.aspx and download the beta version manually.

My Samsung Android device is set for automatic SD updates but no new version is showing (no "update" app option available).

I have the exact same problem too. A samsung galaxy tab 2 7". Happened in the last few days. Been fantastic up to then. Hope you can help. Neville.

Yes, I have just now experienced the same problem with a trial version of SkyDemon, installed on a Samsung Galaxy Tab2 10.1.
Here the "Weather" and the "Pilotlog" show HTML data. The rest works fine.

Thanks Tony, this appears to be happening only on a small number of devices but we think we know why. I am going to post a beta later today with what I hope will be a fix for those devices.

I am using SD 3.3.0.18274 on my Samsung Galaxy S4 and noticed this morning that when I press the "Weather" tab I get HTML code and not the wx reports.
The "NOTAM", "PLATES" and "FLIGHT" tabs display information correctly.
