Hi,

When clicking on the fuel for the planned section in the flight details box I get the following error, on two different computers the error is the same.

Regards, Steve

just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Hi,

Two other points i notices with the new beta version.

1. If you have a shortcut on your desktop to the skydemon plan software it doesn't work after the instal of the new beta version (it didn't work after the install of any of the previous upgrades either, can the install program ask if you want a desktop shortcut, like some other software installs ?

2. if you move the 'ribbon' menu bars at the top of the screen to be side-by-side instead of one underneath the other (better use of the screen area) when closing the software down, or exiting the setting is lost and you have to move the menu bar every time you load up the software, can the position be remembered ?

The first error you posted makes it look like you have installed the beta over the top of a previous version, which would fail to replace a critical file. This is why the beta webpage specifically asks you to uninstall any previous version first. Apologies if this isn't the case but it's the only thing I can think of.

The shortcut recreation issue is something we're aware of but currently can't do anything about.

We'll see if we can start saving toolbar layout too. It's encourating to discover that someone has worked out they are movable!

After a complete uninstall and then a clean reinstall everything appears to work well. However for the flight fuel I did prefer the old slider from the previous version.

Hi,

Another comment, I have exported a load of personal waypoints from one desktop PC so that I can import them on my other desktop PC (Home and work PC's), the export worked perfectly (or seemed to), then when I try and import the waypoints on the other PC I get the following error.....

"Object reference not set to an instance of an object"

Any clues, Steve

Tim,

That message is contained in a box that all I can do is click the OK button and it goes away.

This morning I tried to make a new export from my source PC of the waypoints (file attached), again that seemed to work OK, I then tried to import the file back into the same PC, I get the error as before.

Cheers, Steve

I can confirm that with the latest beta version the waypoints problem above is fixed and now works perfectly, also I like the return of the fuel slider !

Thanks, Steve
