Group: Forum Members Posts: 309, Visits: 1.6K	Just a little note that came to my attention after I purchased Garmin GLO. Looking at the Specs of the later models of iPAD & iPAD mini as advertised by Apple company (after my purchasing event !) I note a referance to their internal GPS being able to receive GPS + GLONASS , denovo. This means that GLO may not be a necessary addition afterall. That is other than using GLO as a convenient well placed wireless & out of the way, remote antenna. As far as Bad Elf, It seems to support : 1. EGNOS (Western European), 2. MSAS (Japan and East Asia) & 3. WAAS (North America). ...But Bad Elf does not utilise GLOSNASS I am not too sure of the significance or impact of that on using Bad Elf versus Garmin Glo in air navigation in the UK or Europe. The European more sophisticated Galileo is not operational yet. Any one with a different view/experience/suggestion is welcome to comment. N Group: Forum Members Posts: 9, Visits: 0	So if you can use the GLO, which I have just updated to Glo firmware version 2.90. ..how do you do this? ‌ ‌I have the iPAD Pro and SD 3.7.1.61 ‌ ‌ ‌But I do not see the Glo listed under the Connectivity options ‌The GLO is connected to the iPad via BT and it shows a solid blue light and is on the iPad BT connected device list. but it does not show ups in Sky Demon. ‌ ‌How do you make it connect ‌to Sky Demon once it is connected to the iPad ? I am currently using a Lenovo Android tab with Skydemon, and while the relative height is decent using only the builtin GPS, I typically see some pretty bad offsets where the GPS tracks state that I land underground or mid air. :-) I‌ seem to find any details on altitude accuracy in any spec sheet. :-( T‌‌hanks!
