Hi,

I’ve heard SD HQ is broadcasting ADS weather as a try-out. Should I be able to get this from a Garmin ADS-B IN weather capable transponder ?

Flew near SD HQ yesterday (hello!)

‌The good news is I got a signal from the station and I received some stuff from it. The bad news is none of what I received, I could display: SD doesn’t yet support the GTX345 so I had to try with Garmin Pilot and Foreflight, which didn’t display any weather. My GTN (connected to the GTX) was under the impression that it was receiving METARs but didn’t display any...

The display on the GTN. Normally reading METARs it should display little weather flags next to MET airfields.
