Hi,
I use a Garmin GLO Bluetooth GPS, but to use it with SkyDemon it's a bit inconvenient because I have to launch a separate app which acts as a "Mock GPS Provider".
Would it be possible to have native bluetooth GPS support within SkyDemon?
Thanks,
Philipp

Yes, and
it works fine
with
Bluetooth GPS
(ANDROID)
for example ...
Why would
complicate
SD
while
a good solution exist ?

The solution you mentioned is THE solution for using Bluetooth GPS devices on Android. If you want proper native support, talk to Google.

Sorry Tim, look at
ORUX MAP
which can use internal or BT external GPS without other app.
See a screnshot
here
.
But I confirm that using BLUETOOTH GPS with SD is not a limitation. And this allow to control precisely the reception quality.

That just means that particular app has implemented support for a particular third-party Bluetooth GPS. Good for them, but with the large number of such devices in use we will not be devoting our resources to reinventing this particular wheel. It just isn't worth the effort when a solution already exists.
