I appreciate that the surface data is very basic, albeit sufficient for recognising basic features when flying, but I seem to have spotted a new road that isn't actually there.
It is in Cambridgeshire, a dual carriageway that starts midway twixt Cambridge and Huntingdon (A14) and goes almost directly west before curving northwards to join the A1.
It passes about a mile north of Main Hall Farm and is potentially very misleading. Anyone having local knowledge, please correct me if I'm wrong, but I drove along the A14A1 to Peterborough from the Cambridge side last week and do not recollect a new junction along that stretch.
