Hi all,Yes, I am pretty certain the problem is with the Virtual Serial port setup. The port numbers sound wrong. Fsx2NMEA is connected to a TCP socket, but the data must be getting lost at the serial port. I have put a document on my Skydrive with screenshots that show all the serial port settings of Fsx2NMEA, HW Virtual Serial Port & Skydemon Plan. If necessary, delete your serial port config & set up again.

Hope that works.

Hi, would it be possible to make that file available again? Skydrive tells me its gone (and it's been a while since that post)
Thanks,
Daniel

Hi all, wondering if anyone can help.

Been trying to download the software to run sky demon in flight simulator x, however I cannot run the installation program FSX2NMEA, advises me that I have to changed the GCA(global assembly cache).

Appears - Microsoft Flight Simulator.SimConnect Version10.0.61259.0 be installed in the Global Assembly Cache(GAC) first.

Not computer literate and was wondering if you could help.

Best Regards.

Cant realy see why you want to use this on a flight simulator - its for pilots so go fly the real plane. It's much more fun!

Have used already to go to France and it works a treat. Rather do that than lurk in my study with a PC and a virtual plane.

Hi

Many thanks for posting this tool - which I have installed successfully and found it to be very helpful/useful.

I have noticed one issue - that when I start up the GPS it tells me that I only have 30 mins as I am using it on a Trial basis. I have a Skydemon GPS - which comes with the Navigation software and a software key that activates the software.

Have I missed something - how do you stop it from shutting down the "virtual" GPS after 30 minutes?

Kind regards

Chris

Thanks fellows, but I must be a poor geek, HW does not work any more on my PC.

When I solve that problem, I will be back with you to let you know.

Thanks again.

Don't worry, be happy.

OK, have spotted an anomaly.

I deliberately re-set my Com ports to match yours, "COM3" & everything worked. Only difference I can see is that you have in Fsx 2NMEA "centre box, IP Address"  "127.0.0.1" I have "0.0.0.0"

Worth a try?

Regards,

Max.
