Been trying to download the software to run sky demon in flight simulator x, however I cannot run the installation program FSX2NMEA, advises me that I have to changed the GCA(global assembly cache). Appears - Microsoft Flight Simulator.SimConnect Version10.0.61259.0 be installed in the Global Assembly Cache(GAC) first. Not computer literate and was wondering if you could help. Best Regards. Group: Forum Members Posts: 3, Visits: 8	col-lucy (30/08/2011) Hi all,Yes, I am pretty certain the problem is with the Virtual Serial port setup. The port numbers sound wrong. Fsx2NMEA is connected to a TCP socket, but the data must be getting lost at the serial port. I have put a document on my Skydrive with screenshots that show all the serial port settings of Fsx2NMEA, HW Virtual Serial Port & Skydemon Plan.
