As pgroell said, the AIP is ambiguous at best. When the AIP doesn't give a clear frequency (or single unit) to call to enter airspace, how is SkyDemon supposed to do so?

OK, we are off-season and I haven't tried, yet. Next flight I will check the following. If I'm not mistaken, SD issues warnings like "xxx ahead/above, call yyy APP on ...."
1) I haven't tried yet, if tapping on the frequency shown in the warning does the trick to set the radio as a work around
2) Obviously for warnings, SD IS capable of determining the right service and frequency; so what's the problem to put'em into the radio tab? (for these, which are already identified in the Flight Details)
3) As in UK, the service of a zone has to be contacted at least 5 min before. Question remains, if the warnings popup does respect such timing requirements.
4)Last not least, what's the ambiguity? If there are 3 services named, that's no ambiguity! There is always only ONE APP service, responsible for the zone. This service might be off, because the zone is not actif. So FIS will know. If the zone lys across 2 FIS services, there are 2 FIS frequencies mentioned, depending from which service side you're coming. This is not a problem for SD, because it is already indicating the right FIS frequency of the zone, in which you're flying. So what left, is just putting the APP service freq into the Radio Tab.

SkyDemon issues frequency advice as part of an airspace warning, when we have a frequency attached to that piece of airspace.

We do not currently attach frequencies to French D/R/P areas because the AIP does not give a clear single frequency to those areas.

You make an interesting point that with some work, we could disregard the INFO services, look at the APP service, go through all our radio information for France to find the one with that callsign, and link the areas that way. It is unfortunate that AIP France does not give a simple frequency or at least an ICAO code for the unit providing the service, but there we are.

Hi, IMHO you can ignore D-zones for France, because other than in UK, for D-zones no special request/permission is needed. In F, they are for information only. Same applies for P-zones, There's nothing to communicate, you just have to stay out!
