Hi,

You don't need to delete the old copy first. If you have ended up with two copies, it means you specified a different location the second time you installed than you did the first. The installer doesn't currently search the device for existing installations, perhaps we need to. In the meantime, just ensure you install to the same location.

As long as your license file is installed on the PC in your My Documents\SkyDemon folder, the installer will copy it to the device.

Although I always get there in the end, I do find installing updates to InFlight a bit tricky, even with the new installer (this is on a Loox). There are two things in particular that I'm unsure of. Firstly, do I need to delete the old SkyDemon first? I would have thought not, but I have ended up with both old and new versions installed. Secondly, if after updating I find I'm back to an evaluation version, what have I done wrong? Should I have downloaded the license again first?



I'd appreciate guidance on this. At present I'm much more plug'n'pray than plug'n'play.



On the plus side, once I got it up and running, both Plan and InFlight 1.1 seem to have some very useful improvements. Keep them coming!
