Hi Tim,
Hannah said that user defined waypoints are stored in a folder that isn't eligible for sync.
These are the steps I have to accomplish and, perhaps, would benefit from streamlining?
Tony

1.    Waypoints dropped in flight are automatically stored to a folder that is not eligible for syncing.

2.    The folder is locked to the device, which means it’s not part of the sync process. This is to ensure there is no loss of data due to duplication when syncing.

3.    You’ll just need to select the waypoint in your library, and move it to a folder that is eligible for syncing.

4.    To do this, go to Setup > User Waypoints and tap on the folder the waypoint is currently in. Select the waypoint, then scroll to the bottom of the window and tap the Folder location to choose a new folder.

5.    Select (My Waypoints – “Eligible for Syncing”)

6.    Rename waypoint to give it a more appropriate name

7.    Tap Save when done, and then click on “Sync with Cloud”.

8.    Finally, sync again on your other devices (laptop) to load the changes.

9.    To do this, on my PC, click on the “Sync with Cloud” button that can be found in the User Waypoints library.

It should just be a case of pressing Sync on the device you added the waypoint to, then Sync on your PC, at which point it will appear. Short of fully automating the process, which we decided against, I am not clear how it could be simpler, but feel free to make a suggestion.

I wanted to mark a location I flew over, so I used the option to create a user defined waypoint.
That was simple....
I then wanted to have that waypoint available on my Skydemon Plan (on my Win 11 laptop).
I couldn't figure out how to get the waypoint onto PC plan so had to ask the Skydemon helpdesk.
As usual, a quick response.
However, the process is very "clunky" and took approximately 10 separate actions to get the waypoint "synced" to SD plan.
Could this be an area for future improvement to make the waypoint "sync" operation more user friendly?
Thanks
Tony
