+x Tim Dawson - 6/21/2024 8:42:10 AMHmm. I'm actually not sure it would help all that much. We could make the screen black, sure, but does that actually turn off the backlight, thus saving all that energy?
+x Tim Dawson - 6/20/2024 9:51:39 AMHave you tried simply dragging the screen brightness all the way down to low?SkyDemon uses a fraction of energy compared to lighting the display on your device.
+x Tim Dawson - 6/19/2024 9:18:50 AMWhat you're calling "screen off" is actually you locking the iPad. That means all apps, including SkyDemon, are suspended. This is beyond our control. There is a special "background mode" if you're navigating using iOS location services, but since you're using a SkyEcho 2, this is not available to you.Android is, in general, must more customizable and it wouldn't surprise me if it were more flexible here too, but I don't know for sure, sorry.
