l Group: Forum Members Posts: 9, Visits: 3	Hi All, I'm Hans, living in France and testing Skydemon vs. SDVFR. What is the philosophy of Skydemon, when I just want to fly a few circuit patterns or a short excursion into the training area and back? When I start Skydemon, it asks for a route planning, but I would like just go & fly, leaving Skydemon as moving map, but also activating the ILS and circuit path indication on the map. I saw the moving map and the traces (log), but I couldn't find any way to activate the ILS. Obviously, up there in the air, I have other things to do, rather then fooling around w/ displays. I'm therefore looking for a guideline "how to use Skydemon w/out route planned". Best Regards hk

Group: Forum Members Posts: 326, Visits: 2.3K	As Grahamb said. Then when you are ready to return to your home airfield select "Direct To" [home airfield}, select type of re-join (standard overhead/long finals etc.), and "ILS" should start working. Tony

Group: Forum Members Posts: 7.8K, Visits: 8.4K	You don't have to plan a route at all, just open SkyDemon and press Go Flying. As others have said, you can "plan" a local flight from one airfield, which is a simple action and might be best for your needs in the circumstances you've described.
