I am considering purchasing a SE2 in the near future as an ADS-B and FLARM receiver only (I have ADS-B Out via my Trig transponder).
I run SD on my Samsung S8 smartphone, so currently use the phone's internal GPS receiver for navigation, which works perfectly.
As I understand it, when using SE2 (as a receiver only) I will start using SE2's built in GPS receiver. Is this correct?
If my SE2 fails, due to battery depletion etc., will SD automatically switch GPS source back to the smartphone source so I don't lose in-flight navigation functionality?
Thanks Tony
