Would anyone like the option to create a timer that does not repeat?

This would be for one off reminder tasks, such as putting flaps away a couple of minutes into a flight. Currently you can only set the interval before it flashes up, not to have it flash up only once ...

PS I thought i posted this earlier in year but can’t find

PPS timers in SD are under: ⚙️ - NAVIGATION - INFLIGHT

This would be a very useful feature, comparable to an inflight checklist ‘After t/o’.

Because SD ‘knows’ when the aircraft has taken off and when it will reach its destination, I’d also vote for a non-repeat timer which can be set at xx seconds/minutes after t/o and xx seconds/minutes before landing.

We asked about this on our Facebook page earlier this year, and the overwhelming response (correct, in my opinion) was that such clever timers would add greatly to the perceived complexity of the software while benefitting only a small subset of customers.
