Group: Forum Members Posts: 1, Visits: 7	i know that sd is mainly vfr but i wonder if theres a way of displaying a holding pattern on it for example at a vor, the option to choos the inbound course and hold time (1 min etc) and for a racetrack pattern to be displayed?

I also highly support this feature request. As an IFR student, I would like to stick with Skydemon in future, but therefore holdings and their correct entry paths should be displayed at any point on demand. Query / input-flow suggestion: Long-tap holding position, select holding in context menu Enter outbound radial Right hold standard, left optional 1 minute as standard, other input optional Draw correct entry path from current position This would make SD much more usable for IFR pilots! I guess you will go the way most others went, most probably after passing IR in a not far future you will abandon Skydemon.

Maybe, but it would might be a better strategy for SD to incorporate some essential IFR features (holdings, flight planning and STAR/ SID overlays) in order to prevent otherwise satisfied customers from switching to a different system?
