Is it possible to have an active SD on 2 Ipad's. I have always 2 Ipads with me in the airplane - the second as backup for the active one. If the battery or anything else "go flat" on the 1'ste and I have to use the backup it asks me to logout and in again, but I am not always able to do that due to missing internet connection.
Please help me with a solution so I have a secure backup possibility.

I do use 2 iPads in my gyro.
Actually iPadmini2 and 3.
Providing you do not exceed the max number of allowed devices, it works just fine.
I also use a PC version (Windows7 with Parallels10 on Mac)

Regarding to Skydemon's license policy you should be able to use their program on 2 iOS instances simultaneously. I have almost always my iPad as well as my iPhone both running SD with me when flying.

Following on from this is there a way to see how many/which devices I am logged in to? I thought I was logged into 2 PCs, an iPhone and an Android phone - using version 3.6. But can only get one or other PC/phone operating at once. I suspect I have SD running on an unused Tab - i.e. not logged off, would this cause this problem?

It shouldn't, but you can always call our customer support if you'd like us to tell you which devices you're logged in to, and optionally for us to log them all out so you can start again if you wish.

There is no ambiguity whatsoever, and an Android device will never log in as something else. No device will. The "Mac" version is the PC version, and identifies itself as such.
