Is that not a function of the tablet/phone when it receives a tone, it vibrates too...? Whatever the answer it would be useful addition as well....I would think anything like this to divert out attention to possible airspace infringements is very helpful
...what about different (vibration)patterns & levels for airspace infringement/obstacle warnings/timer...etc...

Like the idea of the bingbong when you hit GoFly.....
I'll second that!

...one question. Linking SD to intercom/headset is not always feasible, though. Would it be possible to alter between acustic &/or haptic feedback. Todays tablets/phones are capable of giving vibration feedback instead of using sound & this would make perfect sense using it on the kneeboard.

I now realise that there is an advantage of being based at an airfield inside a restricted area - a hassle free audio check!

Hmm, I didn't realise it was such a pain. Have you thought of pressing Simulate in SkyDemon and dragging the aircraft so it's about to enter some dangerous airspace? That should generate a warning very quickly.

Not sure if its at all possible but find it an incredible feat testing if the audio is working for alerts to my headphones. I have a Bose headset with bluetooth connectivity but find it really hard to know if they are paired up with the iPad correctly and not to the iPhone.....I know some iPads or tablets are connected with a lead as well into the intercom system. It would just be very nice if there was a tab you could click in a menu somewhere that would either put a short test tone up or message saying all was well.
I know you can go into the menu of the ipad and play an audio track but its so long winded.
Thanks
