I was on a cross country flight on Saturday with my planned route taking me clear (by a few miles) of South Cerney.
In flight I was surprised to see that nothing was shown on SD for the airfield other than, I believe, a circle popping up for a short period, probably depicting an activity.
When back at home I checked my SD settings and noticed that I had "Sporting Activity" unchecked. When selecting this option then SD displayed the symbol for "parachuting and hang-gliding" at South Cerney.
I wasn't aware of the significance of the category "Sporting Activity" in SD and could have accidentally flown right overhead South Cerney, had I not planned using a paper chart.

What I find strange is that, on the UK 1:500000 printed chart, South Cerney is depicted as a Government airfield with parachuting activity.
Shouldn't SD also depict South Cerney as an airfield?
