What did the other product actually do, once you had entered the QNH? I don't understand the potential benefit of this feature.
It is unlikely we would ever make use of an on-board barometric sensor because the output from cockpit static pressure is unlikely to be of any benefit. It won't be accurate because it isn't connected to the static line.

I would rather have gps altitude on the SD since, no matter if you enter qnh once, it will always be gps derived.

As lile a comptitor of a flight planning software. There was an adjustment of the QNH available, where you can put in the actual pressure. Alternate Apple was able since IPhone6 with an Barometer. Maybe we can use that?

How do you suggest SD ought to display barometric altitude if the device itself doesn`t have a barometric pressure sensor?

GPS altitude is informative only, not a replacement for a valid barometric altimeter.

The GPS altitude should always closely track the height you're seeing on your altimeter if it is correctly set to QNH.
There's no context for setting QNH within SkyDemon as it doesn't have access to pressure altitude data.

Hallo all
Was it possible to adjust the QHN, to geht the real altitude?
Can we mark/change the reporting points a little no viewable. Maybe bigger and a better signal color?
And one private wish: Our airport was not ETLC! Have a look:
http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fliegerhorst_Kaufbeuren
normally it was ETSK
