I ungraded to El Capitan and lost the use of ms outlook. This was a know problem but, unfortunately, not by me at the time. It has been fixed now but I rolled back to Yosemite anyway. It is easy to do. You basically reinstall from the backup you made before upgrading. Google it and there are a few sites that give instructions on how to do it. It takes ages.

All,
In view of the many comments re SD on the MAC, and the fact that I had no problems previously with Yosemite & whilst using Safari, (printing and everything), can anyone give guidance on removing El Capitano and reinstalling Yosemite?

Many thanks.

I upgraded last night and sure enough Skydemon won't launch at all so if you need SD to work on your Mac I wouldn't upgrade just yet :-)

I always treated the SD on Mac as a bonus product so I'm not too concerned, however, the fact that I can't seem to get the Web product to work on any platform is more frustrating.

I use the unsupported Skydemon Mac OS version and that works fine, at least on Yosemite, I didn't dare the upgrade to El Capitano yet. Did anyone using this version of SD already had the guts to do so? And if so any regrets?

Use Windows?

Or perhaps Chrome, or Firefox?

Until the weekend I have had no real problems at all using on the MAC and with Safari. But that was with the Yosemite software update.
Regrettably I loaded Apples latest - El Capitano - and disaster. I cannot now use SkyDemon at all !

Suggestions please.

Safari is blocking our popup. If you find the option to stop it from doing that, you'll then see it.

I notice no one replied. I have to run Safari for Skydemon web. Only thing I use it for as Safari is rubbish, too much spinning wheels.
It works on safari but it won't print anything. Pulls up the print option so you can tick what boxes you like but after you 'ok' it nothing happens, not even a screen view of it.

Has anyone else experienced a total inability to run "web.skydemon.aero" on any browser on a Mac?
Either Safari says it's not installed or Firefox doesn't accept any keyboard inputs once the first log-in page has loaded (which goes to prove that Silverlight is indeed installed but something isn't working as advertised).
I also re-installed the entire OS in an attempt to have a fresh Safari, I've uninstalled and re-installed Silverlight many times (including deep cleanses), all to no avail.
I have the latest versions of Mac OS 10.9.3, Safari 7.0.4 and Silverlight 5.1.30317 and simply cannot get onto the web-based flight-planning page of Skydemon.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
David

(PS Developers: Any chance of writing a native version of Skydemon for Mac, without having use a program like Parallel? Or what about at least using a non-Windows-based plug-in for browser web-based planning?)
