Hello SkyDemon team, dear Tim,
We are very pleased with the option to file a flightplan with SkyDemon. (Credits). This is really great to use.
Our suggestion is to implement an option that we can use SkyDemon also to close our flightplan after landing.
When we land at an uncontrolled airport or private airport we have to search for the telephone number to call for closing our flightplan.
We hope you will think about this idea.
Kind regards.

You have always been able to close a flightplan using SkyDemon, so I really don't understand the question. The close option is in the same place as the cancel and delay options, in our website, linked to from the email you're sent whenever you file a flightplan.

Tim,

I'm pretty sure not having been able to close my one and only FPL I've ever filed thru SD. I only had the options to DLA and CNL the FPL once filed. But that's about a year ago, maybe the options have been completed.

Thanks for that. Keep up the good work!

Hello Tim,
Thanks for your reply. I think it is a great value that your users think with you to improve your great software so please be aware about that.
Just like you ask your users on Facebook I think.
The idea came from me and my friend and we just didn't see this option. Perhaps we are not using all the options enough or it's not documented enough?
We are using SD on our android phones.
I'm going to check this and will respond to you.
Thanks.

Hello Tim,It is in the received email link indeed.
What I ment is closing the flightplan directly with the (android)phone (note 2/3) on the same and easy way as creating and filing the flightplan Tim.
A one touch button after landing. The flightplan info is still available so it should be possible I think.
Kind regards
Hendrik

Hi Tim. The options available are Delay / Cancel / View. There is no Close function showing, either within the app or on the web. Tks, Mark.

You'll get a Close option if the flightplan can be closed (i.e. you have just arrived at your destination).
