On both nexus and note 2 v3 I try to open an aip plate mid flight but I get the error it needs an active Internet connection even though I have purposefully download the whole aip for this very reason. Works fine when I have the Internet on the ground and no it isn't downloading them on the ground all aip is there already. Defeats the point of pre installing them all.
