Yes, the Sync button should do it. You have to tell SkyDemon you've got a Garmin device connected, somewhere in the Setup menu I think.

Is it possible to download Skydemon routes from a windows based lap top to a Garmin 296? If so how? sorry if this has been covered before!

OK thanks I'll pop a version on a PC laptop I have as well to use the 296 and wait for the Mac version to come as you're right I'm using the web version.

We don't have a full version of SkyDemon available for Macs, sorry.

Perhaps you are using SkyDemon Web? This is a cut-down version that runs in a web browser and it cannot talk directly to a Garmin 296.

Some people have reported being able to run SkyDemon Plan, our full PC software, under Parallels or similar windows-apps-run-on-Macs software.

First post here so please be gentle as I'm sure this has been done many times before. I've the full version of SkyDemon and want to export the route to my 296 but don't seem to be able to make it work?

My Garmin is plugged into my Mac and sees the USB connection but I can't see the 296 on the Mac or in the SkyDemon browser, so I can add the route to it.......?

All suggestions welcome.
