This is really a question to Tim.
I was trying to save a waypoint file to "the Cloud" and found the file was too large.
Please could you advise what the maximum file size is, and then I will reduce mine to that.

We've recently changed the cloud limitations and you should find it saves fine now.

I am a new user. I worked in Skydemon on Windows8 PC and want to pick up aircraftdata (which are saved in the cloud from PC) from my Ipad.

But I cannot find stored plans and aircraftdata. What can be wrong ?

Where are you looking? Open from Cloud is available on the Route menu and in the Aircraft screen on SkyDemon for PC.

I'm running Windows 8 64 bit and version 2.6.3.0 of SkyDemon. I cannot access the cloud, even with my firewall turned off. Is there a known problem with this setup or am I missing something? I can access the cloud no problem on my Android but unless I can do so for the PC too, it makes my flight planning etc a little more awkward than I hoped.

There is no known problem. If we are to help you, you'll need to share details of the error message(s) you are seeing.

When I click on OpenFileFromCloud on the PC, it just shows nothing there, even though I can see it from a Win7 PC and on my android device. Similarly for Waypoints. In short, the cloud is not visible to the Win8 PC. I can access charts and things though no problem. It is just cloud stuff that is not visible. It is not in offline mode.

Ah ha. I cracked it. I had to Logout from the setup menu, then log in again and it all started working. Great. Now I can get on and finish planning the RoundBriatainRally flight!
