Is there any reason why the runways of some airfield disappear as you zoom out, while others remain? It's a bit irritating when planning long journeys because you can't select the airfield as a starting waypoint at the desired levels of zoom (1:560,000 in my case). All you see is a coloured circle which denotes the ATZ. Airfields affected include Netherthorpe, Wickenby, Clacton and Derby on my copy of Skydemon (2.4.2.16291)

I'm not complaining about the concept of decluttering, but about the application of it.

It looks like the threshold is set so that licensed aerodromes with maximum runway length of less than 600m disappear at zoom levels of 1:545,000, although their ATZs don't disappear until 1:2,140,000. Microlight strips that are longer than 600m (e.g. Knockin at 650m) remain on the map until zoom levels of 1:1,000,000. Interestingly VRPs seem to disappear at 1:800,000, while the little used long farm strips of 601m or longer are still there.

If you take Clacton, the airfield disappears and becomes unclickable at the half mill point, while Clacton town's label doesn't disappear and become unclickable until about 1:750,000. I know which is more useful to me when I'm planning. When I did select the middle of Clacton's ATZ at those scales, then I was rewarded with a Lat/Lon waypoint.

I suggest that either licensed aerodromes remain clickable until 1 to a million or the declutter threshold be reset from 600m to 530m (which I think will encompass all the licensed fields). At small scales, I think it's most useful to know where airfields and airspace (inc danger areas) are, rather than town names etc.
