I know exactly what you mean Rob; I've waited a couple of months in the past to deliver new software, the lawyers always find a way to invoice a few more hours!

I received an email today regarding our progress on the Swiss VFR guide.

Due to a delay on their side the proposal/agreement will "hopefully" be with me by the end of August. Its a shame, because verbally we seem to have reached a consensus but as I understand it, the proposal must first go through the FOCA.

More updates here when I have them.

I'm getting itchy again, any more news?

Rob's been out of the office so far this week and we're off to Sywell tomorrow, so news may have to wait until Monday (assuming the Swiss have even got back to us).

Still no news on that one? My Swiss AIP is due to renewal...

Frustratingly there is no news. I chased this again at the end of last week and received the response:

"We have difficulties with the FOCA. Guess we need somemore time.

Let me find out again when they are with their proofreading of our license agreement.

Sorry for any inconvenience."

So all I can do is wait. Of course, if you wanted to register your dissapproval at the delay, the Skyguide AIP email address is AIP@skyguide.ch ...

Dropped them a line... doubt it speeds things up but anyway.
