Since the postcode search feature has been added, it seems to sync with my device every time I connect (which takes a while).

Is this correct?

How to proceed?

Thanks

Does anyone (maybe Tim Dawson could answer) know if the Post Codes database has any use in SD Mobile? On my third party device (AV80R) I have loaded post codes and I have the same problem with the synch taking place every time I synch charts etc as described above, when the post code database probably hasn't changed at all. However, I can't find any Find functionality that makes use of the post code database in the Mobile Skydemon. It seems a bit ironic that you have all the delays on the synchonisation but no benefits once the data is in the unit?

Using the cheap chinese 5 inch device - with post-codes loaded. go into 'route View' then load a route and you can use ' insert' to put your postcde in and use it as a waypoint.

It is a bit annoying that it always loads the database when syncing, but it only takes seconds so I can live with it for now.
