Group: Forum Members Posts: 9, Visits: 212	Hi John, Think I might know what the problem is in the settings menu of your Ipad choose General,sounds and in the Ringer and Alerts menu you will see the slider for change with buttons make sure it is set to on. This should then enable you to turn the volume all the way down to off Hope that sorts it for you. Dan

Just a detail I may add, one also needs to disable the "lock sounds" at the bottom of the screen.
