Has anyone found a way to either reduce or turn off the volume in the iPad version? Even will all warnings turned off l still get a high volume bleep whenever it gives a messgae. Very annoying and unnecessary. Tim?

Doesn't your iPad have a volume control on the side? Or are you wanting an option within SkyDemon to turn off the audible parts of warnings/alerts?

Tim,

Yes the iPad has a volume but Skydemon seems to over-ride it. With the unit muted the sound is still very LOUD. And annoying.

Perhaps l should mention that l do also have a Bose A20 headset on and the engine is turning at 5000rpm, so it must be loud.

Hi John,

Think I might know what the problem is in the settings menu of your Ipad choose General, sounds and in the Ringer and Alerts menu you will see the slider for change with buttons make sure it is set to on. This should then enable you to turn the volume all the way down to off

Hope that sorts it for you.

Thanks Dan, I had the same issue. Now resolved thanks to you. Just a detail I may add, one also needs to disable the "lock sounds" at the bottom of the screen.
