Should the profile not work off IAS instead? I cruise my fixed pitch prop aircraft to a given TAS for the task in hand (generally one for VFR bimbling and a faster one for airways IFR) helped by the fact that my avionics fit displays it. As a result I want my SD aircraft profiles to reflect that. In the cruise settings you have the choice of TAS or IAS, and IAS is the only option for climb and descent.

It would mean ingesting forecast temperature data (at all altitudes flown) into SkyDemon whereas we don't currently have that, which probably puts it into the "not worth it for the added complexity" pile, but you never know.
