Improving accuracy of road network in South Africa

A Group: Forum Members Posts: 28, Visits: 87	Hi Is there a way to improve the representation of the road network in South Africa (not sure about other regions eg. in Europe)? For example, on the below image the N1 highway - the longest highway in SA connecting Johannesburg and Cape Town - ends unceremoniously in a field 30 km outside Johannesburg. Labelling major roads and/or applying colour for major roads would also be very helpful. Highways and highway intersections are very useful in flight planning. Cheers Andrew

It's the only data I've managed to find so far though, so we either accept it, or revert to the old basic data. It's definitely an improvement. What format do you need the road data in? Perhaps I can ask the community in SA if anyone has access to other data. On the OSM website it does show correctly, so must be linked to how the data is structured?
