+xbut since SafeSky uses the GDL90 protocol, there shouldn't be a problem. Well ... yes and no. On SafeSky settings you must activate the "Enable GDL90", which in turn activates a "you must be an Early Bird user to access this feature", and upon pressing "JOIN NOW" it opens up a "SUBSCRIBE FOR € 24.99" page . Too bad.

+x+xHi, we successfully tested this feature using latest SkyDemon beta version during a short test flight last Saturday. Many thanks to Hannah and Tim, Tobi Hi all,
Would the same apply to the interesting Android App "SafeSky"? It collects data from ADS-B, FANET, FLARM, Microtrak and OGN Tracker for free and connects to many Air Navigation Apps. Has someone tried already?
Phil
I have not yet tried it myself, but since SafeSky uses the GDL90 protocol, there shouldn't be a problem. On SafeSky's website there is a video showing SafeSky being used with SD utilising a split screen. I currently use a SkyEcho2 with Flarm decoding which, although it doesn't alert me to all traffic, is very accurate. So, I am going to trial SafeSky, but I intend to use my phone exclusively for SafeSky and my tablet for SD until such time as I am absolutely certain of the accuracy of SafeSky's data. If it turns out that SafeSky's data is inaccurate—many similar data aggregating sites experience significant inaccuracies and latency (eg: FR24)—then I will ditch SafeSky and continue with my SkyEcho2 and Mk1 eyeball—end of story.

Hi,
today I got an answer from SkyDemon support:
"I can confirm that your request will be implemented for the next version of SkyDemon, so with an Air Connect key 9999 we will connect to 192.168.42.1"
So we're looking forward to the next SkyDemon version.
Thank you, Tobi

Hi,
we have the same problem here, i.e. SkyDemon is not able to display traffic data from ICfly_AHRS_II. From other posts I learnt that SkyDemon uses hardcoded IP addresses to establish a TCP connection to an external data source.
To check, whether it's really only a problem of the IP address I built a rudimentary "wifi-wifi-bridge" using an ESP32 microcontroller, which - connects to ICfly_AHRS_II (on 192.168.42.1) - starts an access point (on 192.168.1.1)
Using this 8 Euro chip SkyDemon was able to receive and display traffic data from ICfly.
So we only miss a possibility to tell SkyDemon to connect to 192.168.42.1 when using ICfly as external data source.
We contacted SkyDemon support, but got no answer up to now.
Regards, Tobi

I cannot really answer as I have no knowledge of the product you are describing. SkyDemon works with GDL90 compatible devices, that's all we can say.

+xI've never heard of ICfly, but if it offers a standard FLARM or GDL90 protocol for connectivity with apps, it should work with SkyDemon. Hi,
I have excatly the same problem: I have a TRX1500 with FLARM connected via an ICFlyAHRSII. The WiFi-connection is there but SkyDemon is not able to identify the Connection and only keeps saying it is "seeking for satellites". Did you find a solution in the meanwhile? Which Code do I have to enter? Thanks and best regards Axel
