As a SD user I would find it useful if there was a way of creating a customisable checklist for my aircraft so I dont have to switch between apps or use split screen modes.

SkyDemon supports user documents so you can add checklists if you like.

Or do you want the app to force you to tick off each item as you go?‌‌

Quite right, I should have been more specific
1‌) Tick as you go (nice to have)
2‌) Use of native UI e.g. IOS pagination, scrolling tables. It's a nicer experience that just scrolling through a long PDF/Word Doc etc -> also having some kind of quick access to pre-takeoff, landing, emergency using native navigation would reduce need to keep scrolling.

Would really like this feature with a tick system and the ability to jump to different parts, notably for different emergencies

Some form of csv/xml import would be handy too to creat the check list and share with others.

I'd really like something like this too. Having to tick off an item in SkyDemon before it showed you the next (or at least require you to skip it) would make it easier to avoid missing items in a checklist.

P‌ersonally I'd only use it for checklists on the ground, and possibly for in-flight emergencies. Most in-flight stuff should be done from memory however, I wouldn't want too many people doing their before-landing checklist by looking down at their tablet...

I‌ actually looked into apps available to do this very thing but the best two I found had some fundamental issues (happy to share the app names if permitted!) .

B‌ut actually startup and pre-landing checks when flying IFR would be a great benefit to make a paperless cockpit - i still have a printed SD plog and printed checklist to hand at all times before people scream ‌

Two of the aircraft I fly have very good electronic checklist on the G1000 and IFD440 fitted in the panel. Even having gone to some effort to set them up correctly, no-one uses them as everyone tries them once then goes back to the paper version which are easier to use than an electronic checklist.
