Perhaps. I suppose though that SD is on a tablet so the form factor is different though.

+x+x+xSkyDemon supports user documents so you can add checklists if you like. Or do you want the app to force you to tick off each item as you go? Quite right, I should have been more specific 1) Tick as you go (nice to have) 2) Use of native UI e.g. IOS pagination, scrolling tables. It's a nicer experience that just scrolling through a long PDF/Word Doc etc -> also having some kind of quick access to pre-takeoff, landing, emergency using native navigation would reduce need to keep scrolling. Would really like this feature with a tick system and the ability to jump to different parts, notably for different emergencies Specifically having emergency checklists available, on tab within the default navigation app SkyDemon, would be of great advantage. Yes, in theory these are all memory items. But add the stress of an emergency, and you can imagine how often things go wrong. RunwayHD is doing a reasonably good job at this.

Sorry, that doesn't look like a "good job" to me.
I do not understand people's desire to have a piece of software force them to go through a list they've made themselves point by point. However, it's good to know that for people who really do want/need this, there is a solution available. Anecdotal evidence suggests that people quickly get tired of software that attempts to force them through certain tasks.
We have no plans to implement this, unless the situation changes and there's suddenly a large demand, which I can't see happening.

I looked into several electronic checklist APPS. There are very simple ones that have there limitations and a very powerful one, that reads the defined checklist and you can talk to it to tick it off, if you connect the app with a BT-headset. I use it in parallel to SD and love it. If someone needs further information drop me an email. To cover all possibel checklist features in SD it would overload the software completely. Better to run 2 good Apps side by side if desired.

+x+xin the interest of usability:1Sorry, that doesn't look like a "good job" to me. I definitely agree. Aircraft owners, or frequent same aircraft flyers, typically do checklists by memory with aftercheck and have no need for it as they did their homework anyways. Renter and occasional flyers have to do their homeworks and an electronic checklist lures them into skipping that, thus a checklist of that kind could be potential danger. Btw, I once learned that you have to use the original checklist provided for your serial number of your specific aircraft. You may have an addendum with changes, but you still have to keep the original POH and original checklist in your aircraft. How many really do that? You are correct. And I would have thought that everybody does this. The checklists, in their respective current version, form part of the POM (which indeed is serialised and matched to your tail number). It is the operator's responsibility that any "laminated" or spiral-bound hand copies that the pilot actually uses for the checks, be equally kept up to date. Problem sometimes is that the FAA approved checklists are often worded in a less than ideal way. Compared to the 4-step "ALT Failure" emergency checklist that I copied in above, the wording of the approved ALT failure emergency procedures in the Robinson POM is a number of convoluted sentences that cover at least half a page. Often the certified checklists list steps in the wrong sequence: For example: 1. If ... light comes on 2. Land as soon as practical. 3. But if xxx light is accompanied with engine vibrations, land immediately. In the interest of usability this would need to be rephrased as follows: 1. ... light comes on 2. If accompanied by engine vibrations, land immediately. 3. Else land as soon as practical. No checklist app provider can take the risk and liability to modify the manufacturers', certified checklists. However, if you know what you are doing, you can to this - at your own risk, and to great advantage - yourself. Provided off course the checklist app allows you to create your own custom checklists.

Iwould also like to see an integrated, configurable checklist function in Skydemon in the future. I do not want to switch between apps and checklist are a major safety feature, if used correctly.
