Hi many thanks to however added the ILS geo referenced approach plates to many more uk airfields. Even when we have access to a Garmin 430 or better the added situational awareness that Sky Demon gives is worth its weight in gold.!

Last week. Please let us know how they help you during IFR operations, and if you think there's an even better way we could be presenting those georeferenced instrument approach charts to help further.

Once you are 'on' the approach plate, it would be nice to see the lower part of the chart with the minima if you would scroll down.

Perhaps overlay that part of the plate onto the virtual radar - is this a possibility? See attached.

Our current thinking at the moment is to abandon our own map entirely when you've transitioned into making an IFR approach. We could instead present the IFR documents fullscreen with your aircraft symbol on. Thoughts welcome.

Good idea, button to go back to SD map if abandoning approach, switch to taxi map when groundspeed drops below 20 kts. Easy switching between different approaches/runways. Great.

For sure, very welcome these GR approach plates! For the complete information, like the vertical profile, I will use the ‘airfield tab’. So no need for a separate vertical profile.

I would like to have the ILS frequencies available at the Radio Navigation Aids section of the airfield information. Now you see DME frequencies, often they belong to an ILS, but not in al cases, and not all ILS’s have a DME.

I like that, so much easier to use then approach plates especially in the dark.

I would be very happy with this. On an IFR approach I don't need the SkyDemon map, but I need the additional information on the approach chart, which is currently not visible in the overlay (i.e. glidepath information at the bottom, frequencies at the top, etc.).
