Hello all,
I am not sure if I am going crazy or not, but it appears that since upgraded to the new version of skydemon, and skydemon MD on my GPS (to ver 2.3.2.15531) the automatic stopping of flight logging doesn't appear to work correctly...
It starts no problem and I get breadcrumbs, but after I land and commence taxi, I continue to get nav warnings as if I was in the air.
If I check the log breadcrumbs after syncing with my PC, it actually records my Taxi back to the apron, until I switch the device off.

Any one else having issues?
I can't find where to change the setting either, I am sure that previously I have seen a tick box for 'auto start/stop flight logging'

Since upgrading, it appears to be running faster than before, and no other problems so far.

Cheers

P.S Running Skydemon on a windows CE device, chinese GPS.

Pretty sure it's been fine on my recent flights. Did have one flight split into two, but I think that was a loss of GPS reception.

We haven't changed the way this works in a long time. Flight logging starts when you get above 30 knots, and stops when you go below 10 knots for a little while (maybe 10-20 seconds).

Did anything change with flight logging? Can it be deactivated somewhere?

T‌wo weeks ago, Skydemon did not log my flights. Today I made extra sure that Skydemon was running in navigation mode, but again, no flights were logged.

After digging into the issue it looks like my One+3 Smartphone is loosing GPS reception depending on data network (UMTS/LTE). Crazy

Hello,

I also seem to have an issue with logging with the latest version for skydemon.
In my case the skydemon was started (and in fly mode) but running in background on both my iphone any ipad‌‌‌‌ and using external GPS receiver (bad elf) which was successfully connected in BT to the devices.
After the circuits (was just touch & go so did not use actively skydemon) i wanted to check my log for take-off/landing and number of landing but had nothing recorded.
I had the impression that previously even in background ‌‌skydemon would start logging.
iphone on 11.0.3 and ipad on 10.3.3

There's a subtle change in iOS 11 which may break background logging. We've had to do something in SkyDemon to get it to continue to work in the background but obviously this change will only take effect in the next release, which we hope to release within a couple of weeks.
