Have just got a backup wince device (4.3 aware type device from china). Got it going but no charts. Have synced the card, have then tried to load a chart only to find no charts on the SD card?

What to do?

Let me try to clear this up: sync is not currently supposed to install charts, it's supposed to update any charts it finds on the device for which there are newer versions on the PC. If it installed, then anyone syncing their device from a club PC or a friend's PC would potentially find their device full of charts they never wanted.

If you want to install new charts, use the installer software found under Setup -> Device Connectivity Options. When you install SkyDemon Mobile it assumes you would like all charts present on your PC to be installed on the device. Sync will thereafter update them.
