On my Nexus tablet, each time the SD app is updated (like today), the icon that I put on the app bar vanishes and I have to search for SD and move it back.

Is there any way that an update can leave the icon alone..?

This is an Android problem and nothing to do with SD – it happens with a number of different apps.
